William Ashcraft
The newest and most likely last addition to the family, which makes up our complete seven, is William, who was born on August 26th, 2009, in Jiménez, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was our smallest child at birth weighing only 5 pounds and 1 ounce. Because of complications, he was born a month early by way of an emergency cesarean. We praise the Lord for our healthy little boy. We thank God for watching over him and protecting him and his mommy during his birth. Since we are moving to Thailand, we are letting elephants be his favorite toy.
We thank God for all of His many blessings! We thank the Lord for twelve wonderful years of marriage and the five beautiful children He has given us. We also thank Him for the two children who went to be with Him before they were born. For whatever reason, the Lord needed them more than us. We have a complete family and look forward to seeing how God will use these precious children in the future to further the Gospel for Him, whether it be as a layman in a church or a missionary on a foreign field. Psalm 127:3-5 says, "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." The quiver is full!!!
